Rangefinders:

Beginning in spring, 2013, the USJGT will allow rangefinders that measure distance only.  Any player using a device that measures anything other than distance (slope, wind, etc.) will be disqualified.

 Tour Championship Qualilfying:

We use a tiered system to determine qualifiers for the USJGT Tour Championship.  The number of qualifiers in each age division will be announced in April.  The order of selection follows this criteria:

1.  Players with at least five events played and at least one tour win

2.  Players with at least five events played with no wins (in the order they appear on the PARS ranking)

3.  Players with less than five events played and at least one win

4.  Players with less than five events played and no wins (in the order they appear on the PARS ranking)

Player of the Year:

Each age division has a player of the year.  To qualify, a player must play in at least five events over the course of the season.

The player that meets that qualification and ranks highest in the PARS ranking system is the Player of the Year.
